Horseback Safari near Johannesburg

For those wanting something different and a bit of adventure why not do a horseback safari? This tour definitely provides a unique perspective. Get up close to various types of animals like antelope, wildebeest, zebra and many more because they see the horse as just another animal.

You can choose to do an early morning or sunset horseback safari. Rides are approximately one hour long but we need to arrive 30 minutes before the horse ride starts to get prepared with the relevant gear like helmets and to have the safety briefing.

You don’t need to be an experienced horserider to do this tour. The horses are well-trained, calm, and dependable to allow non-experienced riders to have a safe enjoyable horseback safari experience.

Tours are available Monday to Friday. 

Terms and conditions:
Weight limit 110kg per person
No pregnant ladies.
Children must be 6 years or older and need to be able to sit on their own horses.
No previous back injuries
No cantering or trotting due to rocky terrain and to ensure safety for all riders.
No refunds for cancellations.
Rescheduling for any reason except rain needs to be done 48 hours in advance.
In the event of heavy rain or lightning, rides will be rescheduled.
