2 night Wildlife Escape to Clifftop Exclusive Safari Hideaway

Imagine birds song and the soft rustle of leaves as you sip a heady gin and tonic or glass of wine watching the African sun set from the luxurious deck of your own private plunge pool next to your secluded thatched bungalow.

After a relaxing hot bubble bath overlooking the bushveld, you walk to dinner via a winding path romantically lit by lanterns where you enjoy a culinary experience that is a feast for the eyes and the tastebuds.

A comfortable refreshing sleep heals your mind and body. Then in the early rays of light head out on a game drive as hear you the crunch of the tyres on the gravel road. Laugh and be enlightened by your knowledgeable wildlife guide who entertains you with tales of Africa about the life cycle of the tiniest creatures to giant elephants.

Return to a well-deserved late breakfast and then spend time relaxing by the pool, reading a book, retail therapy at the curio shop or bird watching. Lunch is served overlooking the valley. Choose your treat from a sweet and savoury high tea followed by an afternoon sunset game drive to look for lions and rhinoceros.

Trip details:

DAY 1: Pick from your accommodation and transport to Welgevonden Private Game reserve +/- 3.5 hours from Johannesburg. Arrive at the lodge in the midafternoon to check in.

DAY 2: Enjoy an early morning safari and an afternoon safari on the reserve as well as 3 delicious meal and afternoon tea.

DAY 3: Enjoy an early morning safari and breakfast at the lodge. Then you will be picked up from the lodge and returned to Johannesburg.
