About Us

We are a local South African tour company with a passion for conservation, cultural heritage and uplifting people in our community

See My Country Safaris is a home grown company that started as a fun project between a few ladies to make some extra income and show a handful of overseas family and friends around our beautiful country, South Africa. 

It soon blossomed into a fully fledged business that provides personalised tours and itineraries for business travelers, solo  travelers, couples, families and small groups of friends according to the unique travel arrangements and time availability of each guest.

All our staff share a passion for conservation, cultural heritage and uplifting communities.

Our goal is to help our guests create lifelong memories of genuine authentic experiences that connect us to the local nature and people.

All of our staff have travelled at one time or another, so we know what’s helpful and interesting on a tour.

Our tours are handpicked according to our own experience and feedback from our guests to ensure you are getting the best options for the time you have available to tick off the most important items on your bucket list.

Conservation

We support important causes to make the world a better place by: 

  1. Helping underprivileged children, especially orphans get environmental education and to find career opportunities in tourism and conservation. 
  2. Assisting in the war against rhino poaching in Africa and Asia.
  3. Supporting the local national parks where we do tours to achieve their conservation aims.
  4. Supporting Cheetah and Wild dog research and conservation

Staff Diversity

Our staff have diverse backgrounds and skills

  1. Between us we speak English, Afrikaans, Portuguese and Tswana.  We can also arrange Russian and French translation.
  2. Between us we have worked across several industries including event organising, fundraising, agriculture and fishing, zoological gardens, social media, PR, environmental impact assessments, research science, management and recruitment.
