Nature Guide, Conservationist and Rehabilitator of injured animals

Biography

Lee Hazel grew up with an adventurous spirit and loves the great outdoors. She has always been good at sport and has quote unquote “been fit enough to outrun a rhino” (please don’t try this at home)
 
After school she decided to pursue nature conservation and did her diploma. This allowed her to work at the Pretoria zoo where she focused on conservation education about the white headed eagle and the barn own and also rehabilitation of injured birds and animals. She also lead guided tours on nocturnal animals and their behaviour during this time.
 
Her hobbies include, camping, hiking, reading, event co-ordination for goodwill causes and spending time with her husband and children.
